The goals keep coming in 2013 for Lionel Messi. Tonight he scored four against Osasuna in a 5-1 Barcelona win at the Nou Kamp. In the process he became the youngest player to reach 200 La Liga goals as well as the first player to score in 11 consecutive La Liga games.
At the age of 25 Messi has achieved the feat at 4 years younger than previous holder Telmo Zarra who played with Athletic Bilbao in the 1940’s and 50’s.
The year is still young but Messi is showing no sign of slowing down on his record setting goal scoring exploits of 2012.
