Wexford v Derry
Derry make the long trip to the South East to take on Wexford. Wexford are unbeaten with a win and a draw wheres Derry have one win and one loss. Wexford will hope to continue their unbeaten start and all but guarantee safety in the division while putting themselves in the promotion race. A Derry win will maintain the closeness within the division.
Galway v Westmeath
The battle of the maroon takes place in Salthill this weekend. Westmeath are the only team in the division with a 100% record after 2 games. Galway were outfought by Louth in the second half in their rescheduled game last weekend. The division is very tight and every game will be important. Galway need to win to get their promotion hopes back on track.
Armagh v Longford
Both of these sides are yet to register a win in the division, the loser of this one will be fighting a relegation battle for the remainder of the campaign. Armagh welcome back their Crossmaglen contingent which should strengthen them going forward. Longford have battled well in losing their opening games by tight margins, they may fall just short yet again.
Laois v Louth
This all Leinster tie pits two team together with a win and a loss each. Laois will be keen to get their campaign back on rack after their loss in Derry. Louth showed tremendous fighting spirit when defeating Galway in the snow in Drogheda last weekend. Laois should be the strongest team in the division and should have too much for Louth in this clash.
