Dublin and Cork played the most entertaining match of last week’s All Ireland Football Quarter Finals with Dublin winning out on a scoreline of 1-16 to 0-14. The game was nip and tuck throughout with Dublin’s young sensation Jack Mc Caffrey’s goal the difference between the sides. Cork’s Paudie Kissane had a great chance for a goal for the Rebels with 10 minutes remaining, but when bearing through the Dublin defence he struck a wide. A goal at that stage would have been a serious test of the Dubs resolve.
As it stood, Dublin won out and now meet the other half of Munster’s”Big Two” when they take on Kerry on Septemer 1.
