Manchester United and Bayern Munich line ups

Manchester United v Bayern Munich

Nemanja Vidic opens the scoring at Old Trafford last week.

Manchester United and Bayern Munich meet at the Allianz Arena for their Champions League Quarter Final second leg following their 1-1 draw at Old Trafford last week.  United need to score to advance.  That fact is shown in the team selected by Moyes.  United will be expecting to soak up a lot of pressure and hope to score on the counter attack.  Bayern will pass the ball all night and dominate possession, trying to probe holes in United’s defence.

The teams line up as follows:

Bayern Munich: Neuer, Lahm (C), Alaba, Dante, Boateng, Ribéry, Robben, Götze, Müller, Kroos, Mandzukić

Subs: Raeder, Van Buyten, Rafinha, Pizarro, Weiser, Hojbjerg, Weihrauch

Manchester United: De Gea; Jones, Smalling, Vidic, Evra; Fletcher, Carrick; Valencia, Rooney, Kagawa; Welbeck

Subs: Lindegaard, Büttner, Ferdinand, Giggs, Januzaj, Young, Hernandez
